Do you want potential customers to be able to find your business on the Web? There’s an easy way to do it. Use Google My Business. For absolutely no charge, you can post your business hours, phone number, and directions on Google Search and Google Maps.
If you don’t have an account on Google you will need to create one. The easiest way is to simply create a Gmail account if you don’t already have one.
Once you have an account, navigate your way to Googly My Business by simply typing these words into the search box. Once you are on the page follow the prompts to set up your My Business information.
When your account is created, Google will send a postcard with a verification code via regular mail in about 5 days. Once you have it, type in the code on the dashboard and you will go live. When someone searches for your business, it will not just appear as a link, put as a large rectangular box on the screen with as much information as you like.
